SUPPORTING RENFREWSHIRE FOOD BANK AT HARVEST-TIME
Our annual Harvest Assembly will not take place in the usual format, due to ongoing COVID restrictions, however, Rev. Noonan will join us “virtually” next week to speak to the children.
Each year, at this time, we raise awareness of the work of and demands on the Renfrewshire Food Bank. Despite the different format of our “get together” this year we would ask for your support to continue to promote how a collective effort can benefit and support so many. With this in mind we will continue with our food collection.
The Food Bank website gives guidance on suitable items and we have used this information to give suggestions of food to donate. Please see below;
P1 Tea / Coffee
P2 Sugar / Tinned meat /Fish
P3 Tinned Fruit / Jam
P4 Tinned Vegetables / Pasta
Sauce
P5 UHT Milk / Cereal
P6 Diluting juice
P7 Biscuits / Snacks / Crisps
One item per child is sufficient. Please bring these items in by
Wednesday 7 October. Thank you in anticipation of your generosity.
